

Ms. Keough-Hartz is the President and CEO of Provider Resources, Inc. (PRI) with over 22 years in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities as owner include driving market share, revenue and profit growth with full strategic planning responsibility. Key qualifications include: leadership, marketing, financial and human resource planning, billing operations, and government contracting. Since the founding of PRI in 2003, she has led her company into the government contracting arena, focusing those efforts on PRI’s mission of supporting the healthcare community with billing and compliance expertise through education, promoting integrity in our healthcare system.
To further describe her management capabilities, it is important to note she has facilitated the management of comprehensive systems and software conversions, client interfaces and organizational restructuring commensurate with the creation of three corporations and several mergers and acquisitions. Further, Shawn has been responsible for directing and structuring organizational policies for multiple cost centers with six satellite remote locations in six states with 70 employees and responsibilities for generation of revenues in excess of twenty-two million dollars annually. Currently, she manages the transition of PRI into the virtual realm.
As a healthcare professional, Ms. Keough-Hartz has been an active member of the Healthcare Billing & Management Association (HBMA) and currently serves on its Board of Directors where she is actively involved in Strategic Planning. Commencing with her membership to HBMA and first meeting, she immediately became a member of HBMA’s Business Practices Committee. She has been an active member of the Education, Publications and Nomination Committees, and currently serves on the Ethics & Compliance and Government Relations Committees and Awards Best Practices. That committee’s primary undertaking was the development and publication of HBMA’s first book, Collected Wisdom, for which she is a contributing author.
