William McBee, PI, CFE
Chief Compliance Officer and Director, Investigative Services
William L. McBee serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Director, Investigative Services for Provider Resources, Inc. A licensed private investigator, Bill received his Certified Fraud Examiner credentials in 1997, enjoys active membership in the Knoxville Chapter (#138), ACFE, and is a frequent presenter at national compliance conferences speaking on federal investigation and prosecution of health care fraud.
With over 30-years experience in complex fraud and other major crimes investigation, leading to numerous successful prosecutions in multiple jurisdictions, Bill’s experience, earned in both State and Federal law enforcement agencies, is extensive. And for 7-years, Bill was tasked from the OIG/USTVA as a Senior Special Agent on the Health Care Fraud Task Force of the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Tennessee.
In addition to his B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Tennessee, Bill is also a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (U.S. Treasury Department) and the FBI National Academy (U.S. Department of Justice).
Bill is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Republic of Viet-Nam (1969-1970).
